  1. What materials do you use for your lamps?

A: We use PLA filament to create our 3D printed lamps. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is an eco-friendly, biodegradable material made from renewable sources like corn starch and sugarcane. It is durable and lightweight, making it a safer and sustainable choice for home decor. Our lamps are designed to be sturdy and long-lasting, while also being kind to the environment.

  1. Can I request a custom design?

A: At this time, we do not offer custom design options. However, we gladly welcome inquiries for larger quantity orders. If you’re interested in bulk purchases or special arrangements, feel free to reach out—we’d love to discuss how we can meet your needs.

  1. How long does it take to ship my order?

A: We keep a small stock, and top up as items sell, If the item is in stock it will ship out within 1 or 2 working days, back-order items will be made to order, Our lead time for production is 5 – 7 days upon receiving the order. This allows us to maintain quality while preparing your items for shipment. If you have a specific deadline or urgent request, feel free to reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  1. Do the lamps come with bulbs?

A: Yes, all our lamps come with an LED bulb or light source, ensuring they’re ready to use right away. The included bulb provides energy-efficient, long-lasting illumination, making it both practical and environmentally friendly.

 

Shipping

  1. How long does shipping take?

A: Delivery takes around 2–5 working days, depending on your location and the courier. As soon as your order is on its way, you’ll receive tracking details so you can follow its journey right to your doorstep.

  1. What are the delivery charges?

A: We offer free delivery within West Malaysia. For shipping to East Malaysia, rates start from RM35 via courier. If you’re ordering from Singapore, shipping starts from RM39. Final shipping costs may vary depending on order size and location.

  1. Do you offer international shipping?

A: Yes, we offer international shipping! If you’re interested in placing an order from outside Malaysia, please email support@luumi.my to check rates and shipping options. We’ll be happy to assist you with the best available delivery methods for your location.

  1. What should I do if my lamp arrives damaged?

A: If your lamp arrives damaged, don’t worry—we’ll send a replacement! Just reach out to us at support@luumi.my with photos of the damaged item, and we’ll arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you as soon as possible.

 

Payment

  1. What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, Mastercard (debit and credit), Amex, FPX bank transfers, and e-wallets like GrabPay and Touch ‘n Go. These options make it easy and secure to shop with us.

Care and Maintenance

  1. How do I clean my 3D printed lamp?

A: Cleaning your 3D printed lamp is simple!

Dust Regularly – Use a soft microfiber cloth or a gentle brush to remove dust. Avoid using rough cloths that may scratch the surface.

Wipe with Damp Cloth – If needed, lightly dampen a cloth with water or mild soap, then gently wipe the lamp. Avoid excessive moisture to prevent damage.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals – Stay away from alcohol, acetone, or abrasive cleaners as they can degrade the PLA material over time.

  1. Can I use different types of bulbs?

A: Only use LED bulbs for 3D printed lamps. They are energy-efficient, emit less heat, and help preserve the integrity of the PLA material. Most LED bulbs work with your lamps, as long as they fit the socket size. 

 

Refunds and Warranty

  1. Do you offer refunds or exchanges? 

A: We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer replacements at no additional cost. To request a replacement, please email us at support@luumi.my within 3 days of receiving the item, along with photos of the issue. Our team will assist you in resolving the matter as quickly as possible.

At this time, we do not provide refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases, but if there’s a problem with your order, we’re here to help!

  1. Is there a warranty for your lamps?
    A: Yes, all our lamps come with a one-year warranty, starting from the date of purchase. If you experience any issues within this period, you can return the lamp for inspection. Once assessed, we’ll proceed with a replacement or necessary repairs to ensure your lamp is in perfect condition.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, but does not apply to:

  • Bulbs
  • Damage from improper use, modifications, wear and tear, or accidents.
  • Exposure to extreme heat or moisture, which may affect the PLA material.

For every successful warranty claim, we will cover the return shipping costs. However, if the item does not qualify for a warranty claim, customers will be responsible for the shipping cost to have it returned to them.
